So just Fluid filmed my ‘17 DC. Everything looked pretty good. The only thing I noticed that was pretty rusty was a clamp on the exhaust between the cat and muffler holding the two together. It’s rusted enough that the bolts will need cut off if anything needs done. It isn’t enough that it’ll break now, but if something can’t be done to stop it, it’ll get there before too many years.

that said, anything you can do to stop it? There are a lot of products that can slow rust down but fairly certain they can’t be used on a hot exhaust system. Is there something that can handle the heat?

    thanks,
