I have a 2002 4.7 extended cab tundra 250k miles. The truck is idling pretty rough when its in park. I was thinking maybe its because I just moved to 10,000 feet above sea level because it was't doing that when I was living at 2,000 feet but im not 100% sure. Ive only had the truck for a few months so I thought I'd get some input from some people on here. Thanks

Is it every time you park or is it sometimes? Does it just sound rough or are the rpms just bouncing around?

I'd clean the MAF and throttle body. Then unhook battery for a bit to let computer reset. Elevation could have something to do with it.

Im with bmc. the little brain in your ecu is probably used to sea level - ish air for most of its life. So it may be a bit freaked out by the lack of air. I know that the first time I took mine back up to 6000ft after 2 years of being at sea level it wasn't the happiest with me for the first day and the idle was definitely a bit rough. Also while your poking around in the engine bay check all of your vacuum lines. Not sure of your skill level so I won't explain everything. But if you do have any questions feel free to ask and If you haven't already I recommend getting a service manual. its very nice to have. :D
