So I’ve been looking everywhere and I can’t seem to find a video of a diy on how to mount and install a light bar on the roof ditch of my 2018 Toyota Tundra... can anyone help? Thank you

Is that why I see most people installing over the windshield?

Anything in that area of the windstream will make noise.

Hood Bulge light bar is the way to go. It's up high but not in the wind.

Will it give the same lighting? Where did you get yours?

Does that hood ornament cause any noise?

It's a Baja Designs S8 bar. It is not cheap. The mounts for it are made by @sdhq_offroad specifically for that bar and go for about $100. The big plus of having it there is you don't have to worry about it being stolen. Most people don't even notice it or if they do they think it's a stock part of the truck.

After about 11 of them I tend to make a lot of noise.

Do regular ditch lights mounted on the hood near the windshield make wind noise? I'm thinking of getting a set through Caliraisedled.com since they are having a 10% off sale on them this month.

Now I see why they are supposed to be for off road use only... LOL :welder:

Nice I think I’m going with that option! I’ll use my other light bar elsewhere maybe under the awning I’m building on my racks
