I have a 18 tundra with 33” Ko2 tires. They maybe have 10,000 miles left. I recently put kilmat on all 4 doors (inner and outer panel).

I was amazed recently riding in a 2018 GMC, it had highway tires of course. But It was so quiet. Should I expect a big road noise reduction if I change to the defenders, for example?

Or perhaps tundras are just more noisy than other makes.

    thanks for any insight

tires can make a big difference for sure, less aggressive tread means smoother ride and less noise. But Toyotas in my experience, my Tundra included have had more wind noise than some other vehicles. So yes, some other trucks are certainly quieter....but all vehicles are quiet when they are sitting in the shop:thumbsup:. Ill take some wind and road sounds along with toyota reliability over a quieter, less reliable truck.
