That's a lie. The foot would absolutely gain weight proportional to the HP increase for a net loss in MPGs.

I think your Figs reservoir is flipped backwards on the bracket. Here is mine for reference. It should be tucked in next to the blower.

Tuning Update: Unfortunately the new fuel pump is faulty. So gotta drop the tank and throw another one in. Tuning session continues Wednesday afternoon.

Good news everything else works great. Blower sounds great even at very light throttle. Now just to slowly cruise to get some of this fuel out since I filled the tank lol

Well, at least needing to burn fuel down plays to the Tundra's strengths!

So - I'll throw some kindling on the fire on this. One of the main questions/considerations of regearing should depend on your total tire size change over the OE (regardless of how light the wheel+tire combo or power input change is made) - in other words should be looked as a whole system. The 4.30 is engineered for the original tire size(es) that yota originally took into account (~32-34"). If you're going outside of that range, you "should" regear to bring your DT back into spec. The problem with "just add more power" is that you're actually putting more strain on your engine to make up for mechanical power loss that should be addressed by gearing. The Tundras were actually geared decently well (which is one of the reasons that it feel out of MPG range with other competitors) to do work vs being setup to cruise highways.

The complete opposite of this is the 3rd gen Tacos - they came too low geared (at least for using a truck as a truck rather than a car with an open bed :D) due to MPG desire. So most are recommended to regear even with a stock setup if you want to have the truck feel (the RPM range is just too low to produce enough torque for "truck" use).

If it was me - I'd still regear, even with the S/C because you would actually have the full impact of what the S/C should add. Without the regear you'd be robbing yourself of effective power (or the "feeling" of the power). i.e.

LOL! Yes, correct. The build roadmap did include gearing to 4.88 at some point with e-lockers front and rear. But thinking Alcon BBK first.

100% agreed. Not to mention added strain on OEM drive train components.

    Build Update 7/19/22

Waiting for larger submersible fuel lines to arrive today. Had to overnight them from Japan (Summit Racing). Then we can throw the larger 450 fuel pump in. Tuning slated for Wednesday afternoon. Also, prospeed is still MIA with smaller pulley so I changed my order to the catch can they make (pic attached). I'll order the pulley direct from zpe once we get it all dialed in. Stay tuned more to come! Oh and next week is updating the lower shock mounts and bump pads. Then its time to really push it and see how she does.

If anyone out there wants a JLT catch can let me know. Just may need a new mount and lines. Free to a good home.

    Build Update 7/20/22

We were able to sort out the fuel pump issue. All good now. Tune has been done and all I can say is wow. This thing moves out for how big it is. Blower is definitely louder than my old man’s maggy. Super happy with it so far and can’t wait to see how she does with a smaller pulley at some point. Couple pics from the tuning session. And big shout out to Paul my tuner.

So officially what is the new horse power and torque and 0 to 60 time?

Not sure on the official numbers I'd venture to guess in the 580 range with the stock pulley. Maybe clear 600 with the smaller pulley. I'll try and get a 0-60 run done. I was just out and did a pull from a stop and it gets with it.

Looks good Rey. Can't wait to see it after paint. There is definitely a combination of jealousy and drooling from quite a few members watching your build. My scooter needs a SC...one day.
