    All,

I have 2004 Crew Cab 4x4 and the resonator developed a massive hole. the upstream flanges bolting to the cats are in pretty rough shape, and i would like to avoid doing any work to them, as i am woried it will get worse!

My plan was just to cut out the resonator and make a glass pack fit, leaving the stock muffler, but our exhaust is very weird sized. I can always work with a custom shop to get it replaced as well, but wanted to see what this team thinks, or ideally, has done before to help guide me.

Mine was replaced with a piece of straight pipe. It's still quiet with a stock type muffler.

@Festerw Any drone on the highway? Probably not much worse than it is now!

    None that's noticable.

Cost me about $200 for the shop to weld the stainless pipe for the resonator and a new muffler.

Do you know the size of the exhaust? I thought I read it was not a normal size (like 2 3/8" or about 60mm) but then I saw Borla's application is 2 1/4"...

Walker lists it at 2.375, wouldn't surprise me if Borla used 2.25 since it's more standard.
