Removing Toyota OEM Tonneau Cover

    Hey all, my Tundra (2020 Crew Max) came with the OEM tri fold cover, any know how to get it off? Wanting to haul some dirt bikes and need the extra space

    Welcome! Should be fairly easy... fold the cover all the way back and secure the buckles (or whatever system is used to hold it in the folded position). Look underneath the cover and you should see two safety straps on each side. Mine can be a little tricky to remove so I usually use a flat head screwdriver to help. Once those are removed, there should be two metal cords near the middle. Pull on those to unlock the front while simultaneously lifting the front up (away from the cab). It’s a lot easier than it sounds. Standing in the bed while you do it helps. Takes me about 5 min to remove, now that I’ve done it several times. I believe there are some you tube videos out there as well. Good luck.
