when I used to do car detailing many years ago, we often had to take the tint off of the cars. we use this : https://www.homedepot.com/p/Warner-...BEgIWMvD_BwE&dclid=COi75vz14dsCFUFvwQodY_oMhA and some glass cleaner . take the blade and start at the top of the window and just get the tint to start peeling and then you can use your fingers to pull the tint off. you use the glass cleaner to remove the glue. back windows with the defroster....maybe try that garbage trick as if you use a blade and hit the element, that element is ruined.

I have used the ammonia with the trash bag method and it works like a champ. Just make sure you have all the doors open and cover interior pieces with a towel while applying. Depending on how bad the tint is you may have to do it more than once.

Thanks fellows! The car is a 2015 so the tint can’t be too old.

I have always used a heat gun heat evenly and start peeling off from a top corner. Keep the window nice and hot and tint should come off easy in 1 piece since its fairly new. When window cools down i take window cleaner and scrape it with a blade to make sure all the adhesive is off and ready for next tint
