The previous owner put those small round (approx.3") wide-angle stick on mirrors in the lower outside corners of the side view mirrors.

They are completely useless to Me & I want to remove them.

Any thoughts on how or 'if' I should remove them???
Light heat gun & peel-off using the string trick ?

Is the quality of the mirror any good, or is it going to be sketchy?

My concern is that it may peel off some of the mirror or . . .???

    I can add pic(s) tomorrow.

    Thnx In Advance.

Heat, then dental floss, and pure (100%, 200proof) alcohol to remove any residue.

Just dental floss behind the mirror, sawing back and forth with will do it - same way most people debadge their vehicles. A little heat will help soften its adhesive for sure, though I doubt it'd be necessary.

But I'd follow up with the lubricant of your choice and these glass-and-paint-safe plastic flat blades to take the Excess off - I'd suggest using Turtle Wax Labe & Sticker remover, but it gives warnings about using it around black plastic, which the mirror backing plate and sometimes the housings are made of.

Seriously, these plastic razors are a no-brainer everyone should have in their toolbox. They're actually really sharp, and can be honed with a strop before using for even more edge. I know from experience, when I remove the clear rock/chip guard crap from my rear flares. Here's what I used them for: https://www.tundras.com/threads/wha...t-gen-tundra-today.2558/page-665#post-1807471

Here's how I was able to remove: https://www.tundras.com/threads/wha...t-gen-tundra-today.2558/page-681#post-1824131

    Done.
Thin braided fishing line sawed right through em.
They were the 'cheapie' Vato-Zone peel & stick jobs.
A few squirts of WD & a fresh razor blade & all the foam/adhesive was gonners.
    Moa Bedda.
    Those things were complete Basura.

I've got quarter circle fisheye mirrors and dont hate em. I can turn the main mirror down enough to not blind me, but still see lights when my middle mirror is turned, too.
