i want to remove this cover. The trailer wiring socket easily unsnaps from the cover but I can’t see how to free it from the cover. There is no plug connecting it’s wires to the main harness, it’s all one unit. It doesn’t look like the socket can be turned sideways and pushed back through the mounting hole. What am I not seeing? Thanks

Figured it out. When installed, I couldn’t see that the wiring unplugs from the socket. But when I made some slack and pulled it out far enough to get a good look at it, it became obvious. BB7B9B0B-4EBF-41E6-9330-96C5EABD8B1A.jpg
