So I've been hauling lots of dirt this month and I'm pretty sure it has manure in it based on its smell. Problem now is I cant get the smell out. When I work I use my soft cover and store my work gear inside the bed. Every time I open the tail gate I get that poop smell and my gear is starting to smell like it too. I've pressure washed it twice and used a foam cannon and let the foam sit in the bed but it still smells bad. I have a spray in bed liner. Any help would be great.

Sunlight. Let it sit out in the sun for a long while.

dump a few boxes, hose and make a paste, use a stiff broom into the floor/walls, let sit, wash off next day

All these are good. Have you washed the soft cover too? That's probably absorbed the odor too.

I've also had good luck with coffee. If, after you've tried sunshine, and any other absorbent, the smell persists, try placing ground coffee in a bowl. Place it into the truck bed with the cover and tailgate closed and leave it 1-2 days.

I did this recently in the cab of my truck, after we left my kid's shoes inside the closed cab for an hour on a hot day (ugh!). It took 2 days but the horrible foot smell was replaced by coffee smell. Once the coffe smell faded, both were gone.

If you keep hauling dirt though, it's gonna keep smelling.

As mentioned above with the coffee, charcoal works great as a odor absorbent

Then, for a special treat, you can go make yourself a cup of coffee with the odor-filled grounds.

Thanks guys I'm doing the sunlight now. Been open all day. If that doesn't work I'll try the other methods. Thanks for your replies.
