Got gifted this Python remote start for my 2018 4WD Tundra Sport. I do most my own installs for vehicles and house crap, but this appears to be a beast. Finding wire diagrams is like needle in haystack and Python is no help. Taking it down to stereo place, they want near $500 (talked down to $400 before I walked) and say I need some kind of DM3 (sorry, I forget the letters, but had a 3 in it) harness, needs programming and lots of labor. Anyone know of the harness and can I program myself, of is this out of my league? TIA

I paid about $450 for my DEI remote start, installed in my ‘18. This was 3 years ago. Not sure if mine is a Python, but may be. It is a DEI product.
Might ask how much for a new one, with install. Then sell your used one…

Save yourself time and money and get the 12 volt solutions remote start. $350 all plug and play uses the factory key fobs. Can be installed in an hour or two.

Thanks for feedback. Actually had it installed by a local shop for $300. Love it. And met a good shop owner I’ll take my other cars to for stereo installs.
