I have a 2019 and I am looking to purchase a drop in unit for the bed that has its own door. Which means removing the tailgate.

Has anyone successfully relocated or added a new back up camera ?

My employer offers a line of harnesses with cameras that allow you to do just that. When you remove the tailgate you simply unplug the 4-pin connector from underneath the truck and then plug in our connector which is connected to whatever camera you choose which stays on the drop-in/slide-in unit. The link is below. Let me know if you have any questions.

I’d rather not list. My wife might see it.
@incredibillhulk I installed a 5th tire carrier so my tailgate camera is now blocked. Looking for a solution like this. I searched Amazon but the specific connector for the Tundra isn’t listed. Other vendors only sell the cruise control parts. Can you send me to a distributor? Thanks

For sure! Would you mind DM'ing me your email address and I'll have our CA sales rep reach out directly with a suggested distributor? We also have a full complement of trailer camera systems, too (add up to four cameras to a trailer) if you're interested.
