Looking at having my truck regeared especially since I switched to 35’s. Really just want to ensure I can keep this thing running as long as possible. I had an estimate from a shop about an hour from the Pittsburgh area. Came in a little pricier than I thought. This is with the addition of a powertrax LSD. I was planning on getting a few more estimates but it’s surprisingly slim pickings for me locally. Thoughts on this price?

Pricing is pretty spot on for what I paid 4'ish years ago for nearly the same parts.

Here's the thing, though. Unless they have opened up again, Nitro Gears went out of business a year or two ago. There will be no warranty on the hardware, unless the shop is offering it.

Do with that what you will.

I paid $7500 for Revolution 5.29s and front and rear eatons. So its pretty spot on by the looks of it.

His supplier is east coast gears and they offer a two year warranty on the gears they sell.

Yes, but it depends on your plans. Fantastic for the drivetrain because it puts less stress on the trans to turn the larger/heavier tires. I'm only on 33s with 5.29s and it dropped my towing calculated engine load for 20%>

Pricing looks reasonable for labor. If it’s in the cards, I would also have them put in the ECGS clamshell bushing to eliminate the front clamshell roller bearing while they have the case split. Also if you do a lot of wheeling, doing the steering rack bushings is much more pleasant with the diff out of the way.
