Still waiting on final Estimate and damage photos to share from Estimator. It was like driving through a hail storm chewed up paint, possible dents and there is also chips on the windshield of my Camaro.

What dash cam do you have. The video was pretty good quality

Final estimate came in at 6.733.62. There was 19 total places of damage on the Camaro and dents were found. It will be covered under my comprehensive coverage since it was literally raining down on the car thanks to the video and I have no deductible I have to pay on that. Since it is comprehensive there is no increase in my premiums if I didn't have dash cam footage it would still be collision. This allows me not to try to get reimbursement from the state but my insurance did state they are considering getting reimbursed from the state but that is not for me to worry about now.

Sounds like everything worked out good. You have great insurance and the dash cam made them do their job.

    +1 get a dash cam.

Go Viofo! I will never have another vehicle without one. I have the same one: Viofo A119 v3 2020 Edition.

Great video and nice to see it helped with insurance.

    Sorry that happened.

I don't leave home without my camera. Glad you made them take care of you.

Here is a picture of the front bumper area and this is basically how a lot of the car looks right now. I can't really get a decent picture to show up on here that shows the dents well but everything white you see are paint chips. Picture is somewhat blurry.

I can't imagine being on a motorcycle and getting pelted with that. Way back in the day when I rode I remember raindrops used to sting.

I am actually thankful no one was riding a motorcycle through this at least that I saw when I drove through it. It was like driving through snow coming down but it was basically black pavement tar pieces some big some small and it went on till I got off the video only managed to catch the bigger ones hitting the car.

I can't preach enough about having a dash cam. After a few experiences I was like yep I'm getting one. Then the final experience was why haven't I bought one? Then had some crazy follow me to work. An that very day I finally bought one.
