Rear Shock Skids for Icon shocks

Does anyone make a rear shock skid for the Icon shocks? I have the

59923P | 07-UP TUNDRA RXT REAR 2.5 OMEGA RR

I have been looking and the stock shock skids do not seem to fit.

I assume this means no and hell no

 

Shock skid? Like a skid plate? Or a dust boot? Or more of a hard plastic flying rock protector that goes over the shafts?

 

Boots are generic. I have them on. He means skids which they make for normal shocks I believe but these shocks hang lower than the eyelet that the bolt goes through. I’ve been thinking about his too

Since I had purchased them and they did not fit I would say no. That is when I realized and apparently 4x4 Victory realized they only fit the stock type shocks. Since I had the piece in my hand it looked easy enough to build... if I had a welder

 

Forgive me for my ignorance, how do your shocks mount? I didn’t now there was any other way to mount the lower part of the shock. I figured lifted or stock they would all mount the same way. Is it some type of bracket that extends it?

Interesting. I wonder if they do that so that the shock is a little closer to straight up and down. I assume so that it is less likely to bind with smoother action. Sorry I got off topic.

 

That’s weird. Never seen a shock with an offset mount.

 

The do it because the travel of the shock requires a longer shock and this provides a little more room apparently. Maybe Adrian from Icon can answer why it was designed that way.
