Go with Autonation Gulf Freeway, they are good about providing a loaner vehicle. Be sure to request it when you schedule the service. Mac Haik is closer, but you won't be able to get a loaner. Their service reps are not easy to work with either, in my experience.

I guess I need to thank @00Tyler10 for the tag. I got caught up on all the comments too. Love the internet. Also, super jelly of all you that have trucks >1 yr with low ass mileage.

    2019 impacted...
Guess I’ll be adding this to them replacing my steering rod with worn out bushings already. I’m just under 10k miles too.

@00Tyler10 thanks for the tag. Just spent a while reading through this. As soon as my truck makes it here from HI I’ll check. What are you gonna do?

That’s the process they like to do. Glad it’s still holding.

I'm going to walk into the dealership with this thread's pictures. Before I go I will be putting a chalk line on top of differential across the seam so I can tell if they pull it apart or not. They will. I won't take it back unless they do.

You’d be better off putting a little paint on the threads of one of the studs and nuts. They could just wipe everything down and there goes your chalk.

Dropped mine off today and tech determined it needed to be resealed. Less than 15k miles. Should have it back in a day.

Is there anything in the center of the truck that can leak now? maybe the gas tank! ...

Toyota has covered the front (the can't tower) and now the rear (the leak differential).
I forgot, in the center we have cheap interior plastic which is like leaking quality ... lol

my 20 years old Tacoma has one minor seep in the original (yes the original) valve cover!
