I have no financial interest in this, I'm just a satisfied customer... and helping to spread the word. This tool and Tim the Toyota Toolman's how-to video have been discussed freqently on this forum.

The Reader's Digest version is that the tool is designed by a talented retired guy named Duane in Nebraska. He manufactures them right there in Omaha, and sells them for a fair price. (originally $170, now $125 in an effort to remain competitive with the counterfeits) Some Ebay d-bag has ripped off his design, is making them in China, and selling them for less. They've even copied Duane's discription and some of his pictures for their Ebay ad.
You'll notice the "sponsored" vendor on the above Ebay link sells the tool for 109.95. That's the counterfeit tool! They have multiple seller/vendor IDs, so it's not just that one sponsored vendor.

THE ONLY LEGIT SELLER IS donald-the-bonald . (Link is to his Ebay store.)

If you're in the market for one of these tools, please don't reward these shitbags. For an extra $15, please consider supporting a guy who saw a need, used his skills to create an innovative product, and sold it (and continues to sell it) for a fair price.

Tim the Toyota Toolman worked with Duane to improve the tool, and gives more info about the situation on the 4Runner forum:

Then I guess you'd know. I'm not sure I could figure out how to do that on a Toyota axle.

I will say the tool your talking about looks like a winner. I have homemade tools, torches, welder, presses, bearing pullers, so I just have my tools, but principal is the same. Also, if you have the time to soak everything down with PB blaster, the more time the better, and if you use your torches in right areas it makes it alot easier.
