    • 10 sets and they will give 30% off!
    • OEM axles retail for $1995 and LT axles are $2195.
    • (Discount is calculated based on those prices)
    • No tax unless you live in Illinois
    • Standard shipping applies
    RCV Tundra Axle Options

Let's get some new bad-ass axles everybody!!

    Previous group buy thread

Information on the axles from the vendor:
    • RCV Ultimate IFS CV Axles for Toyota Tundra are the Ultimate solution for those needing increased strength and higher angles for lifted suspensions. Using the same technology as our desert racing IFS use, these axles are designed to handle any type of abuse.
    • "Ultimate IFS CV Axles are low maintenance, and are backed with a "No Questions Asked" limited lifetime warranty up to a 40" tire. Our IFS CV axles meet and exceed the strength of a straight axle swap, while allowing you to maintain the traction, smoothness and control of your IFS."

    Confirmed:

Sounds good, even if we had a ballpark estimate on shipping would be helpful. Thanks for putting this together!

Regardless 30% to me is a great discount :bananadance: enough for me to shell out for some $$$

Have to assume shipping is always going to apply and will be different depending on where they are shipping to.

    I have inquired

of course! I was kind of wondering about shipping as well.
Hopefully as a ballpark I know CVJ (reman-OEM) charges $50-$70 (depending on location) shipping

I believe they normally have free shipping so you may be able to get that.

I haven't set a deadline yet I guess it will depend on the level of interest. $ before order, exact process for that will be handled once we hit 10 people. Pretty fluid situation but the turn around on their end should be pretty quick once ordered.

Feel free to pass along to others that might be interested. I know it's a hunk of coin but 30% off is a great offer by them.

If you are very interested but can't quite commit just let me know and I can start separate Yes and Maybe lists

If I did not hear so many stories about the problems but “not to worry because it is warrantied.” I would buy. When you have one vehicle it is not want to tear apart the truck, ship off parts and wait for new parts. Then put them back on. Feeling the water but not convinced yet

From what I've heard so far the issues have been boot problems that were damaged during shipping. I'm just going to be very diligent inspecting the product when I receive mine.

Yeah, Valid concern, Mine's not a DD but still wouldn't want to deal with taking off and shipping back and forth.

@Cruzer brings up a good point from last GB, @Vizsla and @jc153 point to clicking from poor packaging compromising boot integrity

Really hope they have upped their QC on packaging since then. I will inquire.

    @azTony
thanks for bringing this up though. I'm still going to buy them, but I think I will start another thread to try and gather additional feedback on RCVs from other folks.

Anyone else with experience pos or neg, appreciate hearing your experience with these axles

But, couldn't help thinking of Tommy Boy when reading your post.

My issue is not from leaking boots, the other one i know of is not also, sounds like @jc153 issues are not related to mine. My honest experience, trucks on lift at shop getting LT installed. Axles don’t fit the standard coilovers that come with TC LT?, pay for new springs, seat/hat and labor to swap, then the 4 blown boots. Still stuck on lift, no problem drive to SDHQ to buy new boots. Guess what no boots, only available from RCV. They sent me boots and grease to replace, but I had to pay for that. Should of sent me new axles and a return label, good luck.

Yeah man the axles contacting the coil springs was a huge PITA and cost $400 for springs, seats/hat. I should have went with my gut on that one and just bought the ADS coilovers that came with the 3” ID springs. Thanks for being the guinea pig and giving me the heads up before I started my install.
The boot problem was another unnecessary set back which I believe has led to my clicking issue.
It hasn’t been a smooth process but RCV has been easy to deal with and if I don’t have any other issues I’ll be happy with the purchase.

Wonder if this is only a LT thing. Did RCV tell you they thought these axles would work with your setup?
To me they claimed that their stock length ones would work with my Icon coilovers and 7" BDS lift

Travis, you just reminded me of something. Can you please find out what the diameter of this housing is? Is it the same as stock? If it's much bigger then stock, then it may not fit with our BDS crossmembers.
    upload_2021-3-12_8-51-32.jpg

This picture shows the crossmember bolt about 1/2" away from the axle housing. Mine actually used to hit the bolt because of the crack that I had on the crossmember.
I guess we could grind down the end of that bolt if it's just slightly bigger. Would have to run water over the bolt while cutting so that the heat doesn't melt the nylon in the nut.

I don’t know if it’s an LT only issue. I did inform them of the fitment issues @Vizsla and I had with the 3.75” ID springs.
3.0 coilovers might have fitment issues with these axles.

Big difference here is that a 7" coilover has massive rod end length, provides much better clearancing.
