I have a 2015 reg cab truck (with the big huge doors) and I noticed that about 6 months ago when I opened or closed my door the door check clicks as it slides in and out of the door. Is this normal? Did the wind catch my massive door and maybe damage it? I have an aftermarket warrantee and would get it repaired if it’s not normal.

Just replace the door check and I bet it is fine.

Try tightening the bolts before you replace anything, they are known to loosen over time.
