    I think the bolt heads are still exposed on the 38 gal skid plate only. @GodlessPro did you add in the metal ramps over the bolt heads or was that done by RCI?

    Correct - 4 of the 6 bolts are exposed. :( I found a couple companies that make these protectors so if the group buy discount is enough it will help offset the cost. I think that if I shim the skid so that there is less of the bolt exposed I can get the nut and bolt about flush with this. (If I had access to a shop like @GodlessPro then I would probably have them match what is on his skid.)

    Stellarbuilt did the ramps for me. On the last trip that we did to Bald Mountain, I would have sheared off a couple of bolts without the ramps. My original idea was to have some of those ramped washers milled, but I ended up not doing it.
