I went with the 10’s because several people mentioned that the 20’s look like they are bent down in the front. I saw a truck with them in person and they do appear that way due to the fact the front is wider then the back so at certain angles it looks bent/tweaked. It’s an optical illusion though.

I went with the 20’s and mounted in reverse - so the rear is wider.

Anybody have a pic of the RB10's from that same angle? I'd also like to see a side shot to see how far these hang down or if there is any gap between them and the body?

Will the think boards for the crewmax for on the double cab? I would like the running board to go wheel to wheel. The crewmax boards are 87" and the DC boards are 80".

Any ideas on where to get the best price on these RB10’s or 20’s? Is there ever a group buy or discounts coming up?

When people mention they're mountain them in reverse are you just putting the right side on the left side of the truck and vice versa?

Yes that is how they are doing it. I tried both ways and like the normal way better. There is an optical illusion that makes them look tilted at some angles. Mine looked worse when mounted flopped.

Both have a slick surface and I can see them being very slippery when it is wet out and a great way to take a hard fall. Even when I had nerf bars mounted on my truck I welded on 4" wide flat plates to the top and mounted non-skid material to minimize having my foot slip off while getting up and into the cab.

The Romik REC running boards would be my pick for a Tundra. Cost is about the same as for the RB10 and RB20 but with a much better top surface.
