I have a rattle behind my dash or engine bay that I get after bumps that is driving me crazy. It sounds like a chain rattling like the one on the spare tire. Anyone know what this could be or experice it before.

One poster on here showed a loose bolt right behind the glove box door at the top of the glove box opening. The bolt is loose and the washer rattles. It may be worth a shot.

Wiggle your fuse box thats on the passenger side engine bay. If thats it use a large zip tie on the bracket that holds it

I had no idea there was a fuse box on the passenger side.

I had a rattle in my '18 TRD SR5. An intermittent med. frequency metallic "clink". Worse with small road cracks at low speed and washboard gravel at 20-35 mph. My problem turned out to be located high on the passenger side fire wall in the engine bay. There is a loom of wires that caused a rattle inside the bracket. Some foam insulation and rattle is gone.

It’s more of a rattle than a squeak. But it tends to be fairly high frequency sometimes.

I'll see if I can record mine one day. Mine is just a faint squeak over small bumps.

Mines more of a steady noise that comes and goes.
