Raising your kids awesome? (......Inferno is faster....)

Anyone else every took a step back and thought.....Damn, my kid is awesome......?

Take the type of oil I used aside. If it bothers you, I’ll gladly drink my beer while I put my foot up your ass. It was on sale and a decent oil at that. If you can’t tell by the shape of the jug, it’s Mobil 1, also with a Mobil 1 filter.

My bad ass, awesome, offspring here, saw me crawl under my beast of a Tundra, and pull the oil plug to drain it. He saw me and pulled his badass Play-Skool truck from under the shelter and crawled under his with his toolset.

End result is he saw me do awesome work, so he copied. Anyway else have some cool pics to show to us?

 

Yep, I can relate. Here’s my offsprings trying not to fall off their barstools...regular chips off the old stump...

Awesome stuff.

Our 12 (now 13y old) is always wanting to work on the truck.

 

Awesome stuff in here. They grow up fast. He’s only four and we have a daughter who will be here May. He drags his grill everywhere and “cooks” burgers and hotdogs and fixes the lawn mower with his tools.

 

If your son's always wanting to work on the truck You should have bought a Dodge or a Ford.
Now all he will be able to do is enjoy it.

I think he wants to "mod" it more than "fix" it.

He's always researching sliders, exhaust, superchargers, air intakes and schooling me on it.

 

I love it! The more we get these kids off the couch, the better. Kids nowadays, don't know what it is to get dirty hands, muddy pants, play in a creek, build a cabin, jump bmx bicycles, etc. I miss those days.

 

I wish I had gotten photos on sunday when changing spark plugs. The little one was following me everywhere. On my step stool, crawing under on my mat, holding the flashlight and sticking his head in my visual path to try and see what I was looking at, he pulled out his little tool box

 

My daughter is still a little young for this but I will do my best to get her interested in working on vehicles with me instead of making jewelry with her mother.

 

The kid working on my truck above, also makes a mean brownie.

 

Turns 3 this june. Every day is a blast!

 

He's even wearing badass FlatCap/Newsboy.

And first time driving the tundra 14mo

 

11 months old, so far he's the project manager! He'll get to buffing and help out with washing soon!
