I bought my daughter a 2014 Rav4 at a Honda dealer. Glad I messed with the radio before I signed anything. This model is famous for bad radios. The thing just kept trying to boot. Sales guy is thinking simple fix. I am thinking new radio. Someone dropped the ball on this one. They should have fixed before listing. The replacement radio should be in on Monday. Is there anything special that needs to be done after they install it? It is a Limited and has Entune so I told my daughter to make sure the APPs work before she leaves there. I should have worked a deal to get an aftermarket head unit but from the little experience I have had with this dealer's service I figured that may not have been a good deal. 2 weeks after purchase they called and asked "can we get the number off the front of the radio because we need it ti order a new one". They knew 2 weeks prior that they had to order a head unit.

Two weeks later? Thinking I would ask for the aftermarket now. The stock one may not be on the shelf, you will be waiting even longer.

She is getting it fixed right now. I do not know if the radios are just plug and play or if there is some download they have to do. Hopefully PnP.
