My 2018 radio is cutting in and out. Just started. I went on a 40 mile ride and it shut off, then started up again as if I was starting the vehicle for the first time. Then right back to the station like nothing happened.

My gauge cluster center screen has reset itself several times in the past 2 weeks as well. For instance, I keep my dash on the mpg screen. Today it reset itself and I magically got 15 mpg or it will take me to the mph screen which I never use.

Anyone have this issue? Or hear of it?

Electrical gremlins are always fun. Not sure if it could be your issue, but have you replaced the battery yet? You have a 2018, so are about at the right time for the factory battery to potentially start crapping out.

My wifes car has a ton of electric options and goodies and functions were acting wonky at times. We had no idea what was wrong....then it failed to start about a month later. Battery was toast. Replaced battery and all the strange electric related issues stopped as well.

How is your battery and cables? Any corrosion on the cables or the ground cable?

I am going to be looking at the battery tomorrow... I don't have a taste a buddy does so I will try that.

Toyota said, when I called for a warranty issue, "no problem! We charge $80/ issue and if it's covered under warranty Umenyiora you don't have to pay."

No I'm not paying 80 to diagnose, at all
