Hello! Just a quick new member intro here. Back in early 2021, after much deliberation about waiting for the next gen or grabbing one of the last of the then current ones, I decided to go ahead and order a Nightshade edition. I loved the fully blacked out look, and it has not disappointed. Creeping up on two years in, I still absolutely love this truck and know I made the right decision for me. Aside from window tinting, bed cover, and ceramic coating all done within the first couple weeks of getting it, I have had no desire to really do anything else to it. So in the end I might be a boring, all stock guy, but I'm sure happy with it just the way it is. It's fun to see what everyone else here does though, in case the day comes that I get the itch to switch things up.

Welcome and great looking truck! I'm not a 3rd gen hater but the 2 and 2.5 gen trucks are great. From the looks of some of those pics, I think you have the black chrome tip TRD exhaust. Bone stock??? Me thinks not. Care to elaborate?

Thank you! Same here, don't hate the 3rd Gen, but sure have a preference for the 2/2.5. In the end with my internally debating it, I couldn't get over the proven reliability of that engine vs the total unknown with the new one, so that's what won out.

And correct! When I ordered it, the only things we added to it were the rear sway bar and the TRD dual exhaust in the black chrome, and I have to say, the tone of that factory dual exhaust does NOT get old. It is definitely one of my favorite things about the truck and I'm so glad it was on the order!

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! VERY nice looking truck! I don't want to work hard enough to keep a black truck clean. More power to you!

Yeah. Its a great exhaust system. I'd say slap a TRD air filter in it and you are done! That is one slick truck!
