1 st off sorry if this is normal. To all I have 18 with 6 inch lift. I have never put it until today. I had to get a trailer in the very back of my yard. Due to the heavy rain we I read how the 4 wheel should in gage. So I was rolling very very slow and the 4 high flashed 2 times then I heard it and felt it in my pedals. Is this normal? Also as I was pulling up a steep hill I could hear it popping. All this as I was going forward. Thank for any help on this.

I'm guessing you were spinning the wheels.

I bet what you heard was the ABS cycling the brakes against the spinning wheel. This is normal.

No spending. Left front side hub. It sounds like. Do you think that it was wanting to spend and made that noise. Only does it when Iam got toured seems like. Does not do it on level ground. Thanks again for the help

Just so we’re clear, to put the truck in 4 x 4 high it needs to be in drive, preferably rolling straight. 4 low needs to be in neutral. If the light was blinking and you turned or hit the gas before it stopped blinking it might make a few noises. It is normal to feel the clunk of it going in and out of 4 x 4

I'm not sure what the problem is. But when I put mine in 4wd high rolling approx 35 mph, The transition is butter smooth including going back to 2wd high. No noises.

If you have some abnormal noises, I would take it in..Or investigate further..
