I installed a set of King 2.5 shocks with resi on all four corners. I really enjoy how it drives and handles on and off road and it looks level. However I think it needs to go just a bit higher 1.5-2.5 inches. Any suggestions on how to achieve this?

Might be worth contacting King directly to see what options are available using your current setup. Replacing the shackles in back would achieve the lift you are looking for in the back with minimal work to the shocks. Not sure what the options would be for the coil overs though.

Maybe they offer a spacer hat to add an inch or so?

Kings coilover shocks Coach builder shackles and shims
Highly recommend coach builder shackles either +1, +2, or +3 for rear and coilover front shims for 1 inch lift up front. I have this same setup including total chaos upper control arm and rides awesome! David from ekstrom design is a ton of help!

A little of this and a little of that. Its pretty run of the mill.
Looks like you have some room to add preload to those coilovers.

Haven’t got wheels or tires yet. Still stock. Was debating dropping to 17 wheel and fit bigger tire not sure.

Better check caliper clearance if you go 17's. I'm pretty sure it is doable, but dependent on the offset #'s. I ended up going to 18's from the stock 20's.

Do you want to raise the front, back, or both another 1.5 - 2 inches? For the front, I believe that Kings come preset to about 2.5 inches of lift. Did you adjust these higher? you can add preload to get about 3 inches of lift but this can affect ride quality. Most kings come with 600# springs. You can switch to 700# springs and get the 3 inches of lift with less preload.

For the rear you can use shackles or an add-a-leaf to lift the back a bit.

Will jacking up the preload or stiffer springs mess up the ride too much?

I wanted the same thing and added a coachbuilder shims up front for an extra 0.5 inch and toytech shackles in the back for an extra inch back there.

    Not many yet, mostly stock.
If I was you I'd consult @Coachbuilder1. He's got a lot of great ideas.

Yes the front have a drop kit. Coach builder +3 shackles with front coilover shims for 1 inch lift on top of the kings factory preset (which is 2 inches I believe)
