    Hey all,

I've been researching for a few months on new suspension mods and decided to do the front, rear, tires and alignment all at one time.

Bilstein 6112 front 2.5" lift front
Bilstein 5100 Rear 1" lift rear
    Nokian Rotiva AT 275/60R/20

The front shocks should have 5 adjustment points but mine only came with 4 points. Just wondering if any of you have had this issue or did I just get the incorrect shocks with my order?

Bought them through Amazon and waiting back to hear from the seller.

    Hey Saadi,

So the Tundra 6112 coilovers will come with the 4 "Clip settings", the Tacoma's will have the 5
    "Clip Settings"..

Here is a link to Bilsteinus install instructions on the 6112s you have : https://productdesk.cart.bilsteinus.com/media/products/bilstein/E4-WM5-Y446A00.pdf

@saadi996tt, according to Bilsteins application guide your parts are correct. They list and show your 6112's as having 4 grooves. I think the description on Amazon is simply a "generic" part listing, as it shows 2 and 4wd and gives average lift heights. When you look up the parts on the Bilstein website you get a more specific application description.

Thank you for the help fellas, thought I got the wrong parts. Do you know if the truck will level out with the setup I have or will it have a slight rake (2wd CM)? I was going to put the front on the highest setting.

Thanks again for all the help,
    Saadi

Mot sure on a 2wd. I think most people agree that 2.5" will give you a little bro lean. I think Tundras can be level and still appear to have rake because of hood slope. From fender well to ground mine is dead on at 1.9" setting

I installed the 6112/5100 last week; the 6112 are at the highest setting and the rear looks lower, can I add blocks in the rear to make the truck level with the front?

How long does it normally take for the springs and shocks to settle in? I’ll take a pic, so you guys can see what I’m talking about. Maybe my eyes are playing a trick on me... damn old age

Question for you guys, I too am looking to do a suspension mod and am looking at either a Old Man Emu 3" lift or doing the Bilstein 6100's. Any pros/cons you could offer?

I haven’t had my setup for more than 10 days now but I love the new ride height. I tested it out yesterday on the 99 south heading towards LA, there is a section there that is teeth chattering at 70mph normally; I honestly didn’t feel anything as I drove along yesterday. Just for the comfort alone it was worth it.

Front is 2.75” higher + 1” more from 55 series tire to 60 series tire 3.75” total front. 1” rear + 1” more for tire so I’m thinking 2” total rear. I may add a block to the rear in the near future.

Parts cost me $1,400 for Bilstein 6112/5100 and new tires so it was a worthwhile mod and I did the work myself so I may have saved a couple hundred bucks.

    Great looking truck!!!!

I remember driving down 99 to LA, that was a teeth loosening drive back in the 90's. Guess it hasn't improved much.
