Could this truck be bought for $42,500?

I have been looking at Tundra pricing everyday for awhile now. I am looking for a double cab. Configured that way would be a great buy at 42,500. I think it's possible but depends on your area, and you dealer.

Depends on the dealer, timing, and your region. Just email that screenshot to every dealer in your area and ask what their best price would be.

A little of this and a little of that.
You could always search within a few hundred mile radius and see what's out there that's no more than 1 year old with those specs. You'd definitely get your price then.

Sure, cock the hammer and pull the trigger. Tell them you'll be there in two hrs to sign the necessities and you don't have time to screw around, so have it ready. Do as much prep as you can on your end. My guess is you'll drive away not walk away. But be prepared to. Not trying to be an asshole but this method has worked for me on my last 3 Toyotas. You just have to put your work into it, trade value or cash in hand and what your willing to pay. It's a truck not a unicorn, as much as we would like to believe they are. Hell, who would modify a unicorn

Yeah my plan is to fire out an email to a sales person to all of the closest dealers with what I want, what I want to pay, how much for the trade in, extended warranty, katzins, etc.. I will let them know if they can meet or beat what I am asking they will have my business. If they screw around and get me in and change things that will be the last they see me.

Dealers make the most on those who don't know what they want and what they should pay.

Call to make sure that is the real price. I found a 2017 1794 on cars.com that looked like an awesome deal. It was lifted with a nice wheel and tire package. The sale price was 47K. I went on the dealership website and the price was listed as final price $47,468. I contacted dealership to get the ball rolling. I received a reply of the price for this truck is $64,463. I asked why then is it advertised for 47k and that is false advertising. The email I received back was, No sir it is not. I made a fraud complaint with cars.com and they are looking into it. If you are misleading the public with a price that jumps 17k when you contact them then something is not right.

That is from the Toyota Build & Price not a dealer. I just got on there and built what I wanted, don't really care about alot of fancies just JBL, TRD OR, and spray in liner.
