    My truck as the ugly chrome steps. I found a pair of mint predator steps for $250 on Craigslist should I do it? Don’t really need sliders that’s what I use my fj for.

    Yea, not a fan of chrome on a Tundra. But that's just me.

    Take 'em and paint 'em with duplicolor smoked chrome: if you put enough coats on them, it will turn them black [or rough 'em up and linex 'em, blah, blah, blah.

    Of course, for 250 bucks, if you like the others, I'd just pay 'em and put 'em on ...
