Good evening all tundra owners in the Sacramento area. Last minute but decided I’m going to go riding tomorrow morning out at prairie city. Plan on getting there at 8am to cruise around the park and do the quad practice track. If anyone has a quad or dirt bike and wants to meet up to ride more than welcome.

Dang, sound like some nice machines. I’m just getting into it, first sport quad I’ve owned, ridden friends growing up but never had my own. I have a 04 trx450r that is stock all the way around and beat up from the person I bought it from.
Yours break down or just been sitting so long you need to change all fluids and clean carbs?

The 400 needs a top end and timing chain tensioner probably a carburetor rebuild also. The 450 has a fuel problem pressure regulator or injector I would assume it runs fine from idle to about 3/4 throttle and then pops and sputters and backfires after that. Love that California gas WTF !?!? IF I CAN MAKE A SUGGESTION TRY TO FIND NON-ETHANOL 92 AT THE VERY LEAST. It will definitely save you issues in the long run.

Don’t know where to find that around me, but I always get 91 for my toys and yard equipment

The ethanol in our fuel here in California is the devil ! It attracts water and causes corrosion to aluminum and magnesium.

Auburn Shell on Lincoln and Ramos Oil in West Sacramento on South River both have non-ethanol.
