Got a 2000 SR5 that I'm putting up for sale, and as it's not been run in a couple of weeks I decided to use it for a dump run. (Well, that, and I'm damned if I'm going to put two dozen cans of expired paint and a few fluorescent bulbs in my new 2018!!)

Anyway, the right (passenger) power window won't go down. Now, over the winter, I had to replace the master switch (in the driver's door) AND the regulator and motor in the passenger door. So the parts are still under warranty; I'm just more curious about what could have failed? It looks like the power locks and both windows are on the same fuse - a big 30A job in the cab, right?

So if not that, because the driver's window and the locks work, could the replacement motor or master panel have failed?

Asking an obvious question: Is your pass side window safety switch On or Off?

    Yes.

It doesn't work no matter what position it is in.

Turns out that the replacement motor was burned out and was replaced (again) at no charge under the parts warranty. (Yeah, I have a REALLY good garage.)
