I have a 2004 tundra with power steering fluid leaking from what I think is the high pressure line. I have been looking for parts on some sites but I want to make sure that I am getting the right ones. I have checked the truck for the complete hose setup and how much I need to replace. It appears that there are lines that go up to the front of the truck and revert back to the pump. Also there are lines that look like they are going to the cooler for the transmission. Kind of hard to tell without removing some stuff to make sure I am getting the correct parts. I don't want to spend a bundle trying to replace what is needed and not buy what I don't.

    Thanks

If you can pull the hose that is leaking take it to a hydraulic place (Napa and others) and have them build you one better than stock.

How would I do that if it is leaking out the steel line?

Hold the Line! If you are not holding the line, abandon your ship. Destruction is inevitable without more to hold the line!
I had an issue on my old Chevrolet S10 where the power steering fluid was leaking from a metal line. I just measured the distance needed for rubber hose, then left some steel line connected to each end. Essentially I just put some rubber tubing in its place and it worked fine for 50k more miles before it was sold. I know there are some people who say not to do this because of the high pressure. However it gave me no issues... it is a cheap solution and if it fails, then you can buy some "generic steel tubing" and use that. I am sure someone else will come up with a much more "clean" way of doing it though, if you just watch the thread.
