    Welcome to the forum..
I have AMP steps on my 2014DC.
If I had it to do over again I probably wouldn't buy them.
I like the way they look, but I had a lot fewer parking lot door dents when I had tube steps..

Although someone makes a step now that is like a tube step and another step drops down.
    Can't remember who makes them.

Love them on mine…like that when they are up, it looks like nothing is there. Makes it much easier for wife and kids/guests entering/exiting the vehicle. Also, easier to wash the roof.
…also 4 years of issue free use

Anyone know when Toyota or AMP plans to offer 2022 Tundra Crewmax power running boards and power step as available accessories? Toyota is dragging their feet to offer these as an accessory. Toyota Dealership sold me the ‘22 Tundra Platinum months ago with the promise to supply both, now a long waiting game since Toyota has not included these items as accessories. Appreciate any feedback on possible timeline.

    Love my PNP Amp Powersteps!
    First mod I did.
I don't wheel, just beach driving and dirt roads sometimes, and mountain roads but nothing narly.

Just got done replacing my first drivers side motor under warranty 2 days ago.
Boy when I break stuff, I break it right.
Mine failed stuck in the up position.

Amp tells me this is rare.....

It was a pita to remove it as once piece with almost no room to access the hinge bolts holding it to the truck, but I got it off.
Putting the new motor back on was more of a pita due to dumb allen head bolt placement and lack of direct LOS on the motor bolts which require a very long allen to reach, which is also off angle lol.

They approved my warranty in like a day online and sent me a free replacement motor assembly under warranty, it came fast.
3.5yrs into ownership and I registered for the warranty after it failed because I still had the receipt email from where I bought it lol.

Also, my driver door led light worked for a day or so when I first installed in 3.5 years ago and never again.
No, I never complained to Amp, I don't care that much, eventually I'll look into it besides just smacking it and wiggling the wires which did not help.

I would buy again, and probably the dual motor next time.

Expect to buy motors every few years once the warranty expires.

If you live in snow/salted roads like in the north, drive a lot etc, your going to tear them up faster, much faster.
If you wheel you don't want these.

Best pavement princess mod eva :burnrubber:
