    Hey all,

I recently purchased a 2004 Tundra 4.7. It runs really well, but I might have potential issue with engine oil pressure.
So while I'm speeding up, the gauge is usually at the halfway, but when I start cruising at the speed limit it drops down to almost "L". This happens all the time whether engine is cold or hot.
I did some research and some people told me that this is normal for older cars with a lot of miles (this one has almost 200k).

    Any help is welcome.

    Thanks

Situation Normal. If I was an evil guy, I’d start up an evil thread on Low Oil Pressure on Tundras and then watch all of them all go up for sale and scoop them up at discount.

I think the cams and 32 OHV System has something to do with keeping the Oil Pressure Low on our trucks.

Normal. But... how many folks actually use a proper gauge to check/confirm accuracy of OEM dummy gauge? 5%?
