    Your truck weights that is...... Thought this would be fun. If ever a slow day or rained out I may weigh some more stuff. The company was here to calibrate the scales out back at work. Multiple zones on the scale they calibrate, guaranteed to be within 20 pounds from 4,000 pounds to 120,000 pounds. So here is what we weighted with me sitting in the truck:

    1. 2019 Toyota Tundra Platinum - Line=X Premium Bed Liner, Factory Running Boards, soft tonneau cover, Toyota rubber bed mat. Full tank of gas.

    Weight = 6,440 pounds stock
    GVWR = 7,200 pounds

    Total Payload= 760 pounds (1,160 on sticker on door)

    IMG_1877 (002).jpg

    2. 2020 Chevy 2500 HD, 6.6 GAS - Undercover Ultaflex bed cover, Chevy spray-in liner, Chevy OEM tube steps, full tank gas.

    Weight = 7,520 pounds stock
    GVWR = 10,650 pounds

    Total Payload = 3,130 pounds (3,465 on sticker on door)

    IMG_2221 (002).jpg

    3. 2018 caterpillar 239 Skid Steer with 72" bucket - Smallest skid steer we have

    Weight = 7,980 pounds (Cat listed as 7,298 before bucket, operator)

    239d3 Skid Steer.jpg

    Please post up if anyone else has weighed your Tundra or any other vehicles you have owned.

    2018 4WD Platinum. Full fuel tank. Sticker says 1185 lbs.

    Added Equipment:
    1. Spray in bedliner ~ 40 lbs
    2. TRD Rear Sway Bar - 30 lbs
    3. Tyger Trifold Tonneau - 30 lbs
    4. Tyger Starsteps - 120 lbs
    5. Me, wife and two Small Dogs - 400 lbs (mostly me)

    Total: ~620lbs

    Scale = 6,540 lbs. Leaves me with 660lbs for cargo or payload. So, at 1280 total cargo, I'm actually getting almost 100 lbs more than the sticker says I should. Of course that's just the sticker, which is pretty much the manufacturer's guess for payload. It is not calculated in any real test, the way J2807 does for maximum towing capacity. Now gross axle weight rating (GAWR)and maximum tire payload, that is some real s**t.

    So while I get all my setups weighed, when it comes to a truck's payload, "the sticker is more what you call guidelines than actual rules."

    Wow, I've barely even started modding my tundra and seems like everything will add weight. 40 pounds for Line-X, really? Won't run a bed mat that's for sure.

    Tundra owners flowchart:
    - Am I still under the door jamb weight?
    No:
    - Am I still under GVWR?
    No:
    - Am I still under GAWR? I'm GTG! :rolleyes:

    Weight = 4910 pounds stock... approximately 5250 pounds with me in the truck, Line-X, bed mat, and UnderCover Classic bed cover leaving me 1350 in payload capacity.

    GVWR = 6600
    Payload = 1690

    Hmm... that weight seems a bit high. Does that include any passengers? I have way more mods on my truck and it is lighter than yours. If yours is a 4x4, I could see it weighing more.

    Anyway...

    2016, CM, 2wd, full tank of gas, and a bunch of other stuff.
    Weight = 5950
    GVWR = 7000
    Payload = 1050 (door sticker says 1201)

    When I got my Line-X premium they said it would be between 60-70 pounds is what they told me. I did have a bed mat also, and it is heavy! My guess is a good solid 60-75 pounds. Between the bedliner and nat, it is probably a good 120 pounds of payload you eat up.

    Nope, only mods are the ones listed, me only in it, full tank of gas. It is 4x4. Only 760 of payload is dead accurate for my Platinum. Weighed it several times.

    My door sticker says 1270 lbs. Goodyear added a sticker that says mounting my Duratracs reduced my payload by 53 lbs.

    I’m sure if I loaded up my family, dog, kids’ carseats, a full tank of gas, and all our camping gear, we will have eaten up 600-700 lbs of the door jamb rating.

    When we take our next camping trip in the Spring, I’ll find some scales and get weighed.

    Cat scales does a pretty good job at making it pretty easy. For example at Pilot as they all have Cat Certified Scales. I believe they also have a mobile app that you can use with payment information on the scale and you never have to get out and go into the store to get your weigh ticket.

    This is a great thread. I was curious since adding the B&W Gooseneck hitch and all my winter gear under the rear seat.

    Funny how the weight just adds up so fast!

    Front axle is rated at 5600 lbs, so 960 left on that.
    Rear axle is rated at 7050 lbs, 3830 lbs for pin weight.
    GCWR is 11500 lbs. Truck weighs in at 7900 (kinda, I have some things in the bed and plenty in the cab). Hold the brakes.....that only leaves me with 3600 lbs.

    So if I want to be legal, I cannot go over 3600 lbs even though my pin weight is 3830 lbs left. When I'm pulling this and two guys...getting pretty close to maxing the 3500 out. I might have to crawl over a scale with this kind of load on it.

    IMG_2687 2.jpg

    This is exactly why I skipped over a 3/4 ton.

    We have a handful of 1500 to 3500 Denali trucks at work. Also several F150 to F750. If we get a bad weather day and some are sitting around, I will try to weight them for the hell of it. I am curious to see what the 1500 Denali truely weighs in at. Also have a couple newer F-150 with 3.5 eco and one 5.0. Curious to see what they way and true payload for the hell of it.......

    We also just got a new 2021 Yukon Denali and something tells me it has pretty high payload but never looked at it. Rode in it going to lunch for the first time. Nicest SUV I have ever been in and is a rocket with the 6.2!
