Dangle. Never really seen the point in hooking it since you just have to remove it to put it back on the tank anyway

Hook it or set it on the bedrail. The motorcycles i usually set it beside the dash.

Neither. It's illegal for me to pump my own gas.

Hook if I'm feeling fancy. I let it all hang out if I really don't care.

Same here, but I do ask the guy to hook it if he doesn't. Unlike the photo above, I don't have trim where the cap would hit. Now if I could only get the guy who pumps to not spill gas on the paint.

    That's just idiotic.

Then again, I do remember those pics of morons filling plastic bags at the pump when that pipeline went down, so maybe not so stupid.

Hook, or set on bedrail. I'm surprised that anyone with a 1stGenTun still even has that little plastic leash to let it dangle from. Mine was gone before I got the truck

This thread reminded me of a common affliction that us men have in our 60s called sack dangleitis. A common affliction where gravity takes it’s toll to the point of testing the waters when you’re dropping a deuce

Can't do commando, just feels unnatural. Maybe cause I'm in my 50s and starting to get dangleitis.

First 11 years I owned my truck it didn't have a connection. I just set it on the bed. Now I have one and I let it swing.

On my Tundra, I hook it. I used to try to hook the one on my wife's Corolla but it never stays so I don't usually bother any more. Her paint is fucked anyway.
