Has anyone successfully plasti dipped the the limited badge? I tried it the other day and failed miserably. 7 Coats and was trying to get the excess out of the little holes in the letters and it would come off the edge of words to. Even after i started to strip the dip off the badge after it got messed up I had a hard time getting it out of the holes of the letters which makes me think that its going to be next to impossible to do to this badge.

If anyone has done it and can give me a hint let me know. The bigger badges look easy but those i bought TRD pro versions so i only have to do the limited badge or take it off.

A little of this and a little of that.
Did you let it dry completely between each coat and then the final coat needs 15-20 mins before you start messing with it. And that’s at 70 degrees or so.

    30 minutes between coats.
15 minutes until i started messing with it which is what the youtube video i watched said to do. They said you wanted it not totally dry for the last coat when you messed with it.
It was mid 70's that day.

A little of this and a little of that.

Sounds like you did it right. I assume you used a wooden toothpick to trim the excess out??

Mine was done when I bought the truck. But, I Plastidipped a lot of other stuff on there. I need to re-do the Limited badge in the next little while as the dip is coming off a little tiny bit around a few of the letters.

Use a toothpick to get in there. Saw it on dip your car. Works great, won't, scratch the paint. Also, more coats = easier to peel
