knew i shouldn't be spending money on those color matched replacement bumpers so i went ahead and plasti dipped my bumpers black. Read around that the anthracite gray dip was a close match but i saw the diff in the pictures. decided to do black until i get the MGM bumpers. overall i like the look better them the chrome.

    .

What kind of prep did you do to the chrome? Considering this, and the grill until I can afford to buy something aftermarket for my new to me 2010. Looks good by the way.

just wiped it down real good bro and masked off the surrounding area. watched some you tube videos on applying to help get the smooth finish and it helped. spray distance and wet coats etc..let me upload some of my prep pics

Nice work! Please let us know how it holds up especially on the front bumper. I'm curious if it will get stone chips over time.

Looks great, but I'm curious if plastidip can withstand the heat from the exhaust tip.

It will fade and chip over time. I had mine done in Line-X Premium...both bumpers and flares.20200621_122405.jpg
