it feels flimsy but so far it has been holding well with all the weight inside. I think it's the type of plastic they use, it's more flexible and easier to twist. Don't think of it as a Pelican case more like a Target tote with latches.

 

I have two of these that I've used on many off-road trips.(fordyce, rubicon, Moab etc). Never had an issue with them. They are lite and feel a little flimsy but have held up well carrying camping gear and some tools.

 

Definitely don’t expect a solid high quality pelican type case. I have 2 of these in a smaller size and they’re cheap fairly flimsy cases. But they’re one of the better cheap flimsy cases. What I like about them is they have a lip around the top and seal pretty well when they’re closed. Keeps the water and dust out pretty good Offroad.

 

I have 2 that I got last yr and in my 4 runner they were great, i have one with kitchen stuff and another with all the toobs floats and pump. They are a great space saver, I may pick up a couple more

 

They won't be that flimsy, we pack metal tools and other gear for farming into cheap thin plastic totes that bounce around in the back of a Chevy 3500 and theye have lasted years. And we're talking 50 to 75 lbs of random metal tools, grinders,pry bars and other assorted stuff.
