    Hello Tundras.com Community,

I am a new member, I have a 2005 Toyota Tundra TWD, and am just as stoked on them as the rest of you.

I was wondering if anyone out there has a 1st Gen (any color/model) with the OEM Steel Wheels on it? If so, please leave a picture or comment. I really like the look, it’s simple but still looks great.

    Thanks for reading!

 Damn. Well then, I’m not sure I’ve seen steelies I like. I’ll delete mine and keep watching to see what others post.

I kinda like the idea of steelies...but I'm not crazy about the Tundra stock steelies look.

I'm trying to decide between going with FJ cruiser steel wheels like these....I can't find a pic of them on a 1st gen tundra anywhere there...

or gray TRD Pro/Sema Wheels like these....either way they will be getting LT 255/80-R17 Falken Wildpeaks when I do it...

Those FJ cruiser steel wheels look just like the steel wheels that the spare on my 2002 Tundra came with...

Yea, I think they are pretty much the defacto spare 17 inch wheel that comes with all 6 lug Toyota trucks/suvs. They came on the FJ Cruiser as factory wheels all around for a few years which I why i called them FJ wheels. I think they look really good powdercoated in that same gray as the TRD Pro/Sema wheels. They look pretty good in silver too...

My 05' DC 2wd came with those pictured in the third post reply. One main negative is the open holes expose the inner rim wall which is a brake dust magnet. Couldn't keep them remotely clean so went w/ OE Tacoma alloys.

    Thank you, and I agree!
That high top started to crack at the shoulders above the hinged back window, so LEER replaced it under warranty at no charge - unfortunately they no longer make the high top for the long bed 1st gen Tundra. This is how it looks with the new cap today.

Bummer sorry to hear that, those high top shells are classic! But hey if Leer replaced it under warranty at no charge... I wouldn't complain!:D
    Still looks epic!
