Nasa was able to get photos of entry and landing.
MRO doing an aggressive pitch and barrel roll to capture parachute decel.


Decent stage capture of sky crane maneuver ~20ft from touchdown.

 

Might be a little premature but some of the early pictures are suggesting they may already have found life on Mars.

The first person to visit Mars is alive today.

That’s a pretty powerful statement. First ever interplanetary mission, I’d watch that, even on CNN.

 

What's cool is that there are three new Mars missions going on. "Hope", the Emrates Mars Mission spacecraft has Colorado roots. One of our calibration clients built it. The Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics, LASP, located next to University of Colorado in Boulder. We go there a couple times each year to calibrate their test equipment. Very kuul facility. Mars is drawing a lot of attention now. Exciting times.
