My windows are permanently dirty? I tried wiping down the inside and outside with no luck. Under the tint??

Those look like water spots on the outside to me. You need something a little more aggressive. There are some products specifically for this, but a little 50/50 white vinegar/water mix on a microfiber isn’t a bad place to start.

Try some fine steel wool and glass cleaner on the outside. Not on the tint.

Probably water spots. I can’t imagine the tint installer wouldn’t clean the windows thoroughly before putting it on.

Try some Barkeepers Friend in liquid form. This stuff will clean anything, and works great on glass. Probably not a great idea to use on the inside, as I’d imagine it will damage the tint, but I haven’t found a windshield this stuff won’t clean yet.
Just make damned sure and keep it off your paint.

Note: this stuff is a miracle for cleaning pretty much anything, just read the instructions on the bottle and avoid using it anywhere you shouldn’t. This stuff is especially amazing on shower doors. The powder version will clean the hell out of bathtubs, toilets, etc.

I gotta try this. I have a bunch of glass polishers from CarPro griots blackfire ect and I have never found one that works really well.

The griots glass clay works pretty well, but not as good as Barkeepers Friend. Only issue is you really gotta make sure and keep it off the paint.

Looks like typical hard water mineral deposits from lawn irrigation, so the deposits would be on the outside of the glass. My experience is that hard water mineral deposits will have to be polished off the glass, and it won't be easy. If you've had such deposits on shower doors, you understand why.

See advice above on products. Avoid parking where your truck can be "watered".

i've used this for hard water spots and have been happy with it. comes with pad to apply the compound and another for the sealant. cleared it up great and the sealant has been on for about a year and still beads water off.

I'll have to try this stuff on the inside of my windshield. I see marks in the sunlight that drive me nuts.

Lots of different products and methods to use. Try using a Mr. Clean Magic eraser with some window cleaner, follow that with scraping the window/windshield with a razor, then use a detail spray and a clay bar. A light hand polish can help get rid of the spots as well. Acidic wheel cleaners like Meguiars Wheel Brightener can also be used, but don't let it dry on the window and flush it with water immediately. These are all for the exterior by the way.

    This.

But sometimes you will need the vinegar to soak for about 20 minutes before wiping.

Where I live our water is NOTORIOUSLY hard water. We've started applying Rain-X to our glass shower doors; it makes cleanup TONS easier.

So I've been working on it for about 20 minutes now. I have only been on a single window the whole time and it's maybe 50% better. So eventually I'll be good to go but it's a lot of arm work. I should probably get one of those attachments for my angle grinder so I can buff the hell out of it with that

Okay it's been almost an hour since I last posted. The kit comes with an applicator that's kind of like a standard SOS pad. I bought some heavy duty scouring pads for a buck at Dollar general and have been using those. The best method seems to be to pre-wet the pad with water and then apply the solution to the pad as well. Then just do a bunch of little circles like you are waxing a car and once you got a nice solid white coat on the window, STOP.
Let it sit on the window for a solid minute and then just wipe it off with a normal paper towel. It will all come off like chalk and will go everywhere. Then just wipe it down with glass cleaner and you're done with that section. I spent a good 40 minutes on each window and here is the after picture

Another update. My wife has had a thin layer of spray paint on her Tucson's windows from me painting computer cases in the garage while her vehicle is sitting in there. I used this stuff on her windows too and now they're flawless as well
