Definitely a taco. I won't cast judgement until I know what the little punks did to piss him off. You can tell they knew he was after them the way they bolted before he even got off the pavement. Video says they had just walked by that house 10 minutes prior. Maybe they tried to rob this guy or did something to his truck? It also says that the 3 amigos never came forward so obviously they don't want to share their side of the story.

Are you guys sure this wasn’t grand theft auto? :D

Pretty extreme reaction from the driver. May need meds....:eek2:

the 3 kids were up to something. Whether or not it warranted being chased down and ran over is the only mystery here.

No, there's also a mystery about the driver of the pickup. Was it stolen? If so, the owner's in for a nasty shock. Was he on something, or just insane? Either way, he needs to be locked up for a long time. Why didn't the victims report it? Do they know the driver? Could there be a gang that's terrorizing the locals to gain control? "Steal a car and run over a couple of vatos to let them know we mean business." Speaking out might be more dangerous than walking down the street. A story with many mysteries, but very few facts.

If you just stole a truck I doubt your first move is to cause a scene and go run some kids over. Car thief’s typically look for the fastest way to get it out of their hands (chop shop etc.). The victims didn’t report it because they were up to no good IMO. What are they gonna say, this guy ran us over after he caught us trying to break in his house? Nope they are gonna lay low so they don’t go to jail also.

We shared this vid at work. General consensus was that all parties were up to no good...

Holy shit. I can’t tell if that’s crazy awesome or plain crazy crazy.

All I can think of is an idea for a new movie: Death Wish - Tacoma Vengeance

    :infantry::infantry::mudding::mudding:

In all seriousness, there’s a lot of unanswered questions.
No one came forward, no reports, etc.
So, either the driver, kids or even both were up to no good from what I’m seeing.

Damn, that was crazy! I know we will never find out but I’d love to hear why that driver was so pissed off. My money is on those kids messing with him and or the truck and he just snapped.
Not that I condone that behavior but sometimes some good ole fashioned street justice is just satisfying to watch!

Agree that something is up just because of the fact that neither party reported anything to the police. If I'm minding my own, doing everything above board, and someone jumps a sidewalk to mow me down, you can bet your ass the first thing I'm doing is calling the cops, then going to the hospital.

If I had to guess, there was some sort of action that took place shortly before this or even that day, but I'll bet that both parties at least knew of each other, this wasn't random.

I am most amazed by the dude that gets hit, thrown, slides, and gets right up running. A buddy of mine was hit by a Honda Civic traveling at about 35mph 7-8 years ago. It threw him about that far, he ended up getting a ride on a helicopter and spent 4 months in the hospital. He's great now, so we laugh about it sometimes.

I mean I've been hit by a few cars in my teenage years, 3 I can remember, but that was a serious plow. For some idiots like me it's part of growing up, but I'm curious what's the story behind the scenes.

Good thing it comes with a skidplate. That kid was so lucky. I bet they tried to mess with his truck and he taught them a lesson. Good driving skills too. He threads the needle through there.

these kids did something, we know that. this is not random. we also know that.

when i was really young, maybe 9-10 yrs old, we lived on a corner lot, overlooking a bend in the road. for 'fun' (..and i'm ashamed to say..), we threw rocks at passing cars. once, we connected and hit someone's trunk, the driver came after us. i think it was myself and 2 other idiot buddies of mine.

so, we ran like hell behind my house and hid under a trailer in the back yard. the guy see us and goes to talk to my mom, tells her what happened.

this was back in the days when it was ok for your mom to beat everyone who was in the wrong in your crew. anyway, all of us got beat...bare back by my mom. pretty embarrassing and hurt like hell too. and when my dad got home... you don't even want to know how bad it was.

this actually hit home with me when i saw the vid this morning and i hope everyone involved learned the lesson. that kid got smacked pretty hard by the Taco, he won't forget that for a long time.

just hope no one was really hurt. we could have killed that driver so long ago. never did anything remotely that stupid again after the hell fire that came on me (and well deserved)

That boulder may have saved one of their lives. The truck hopped and veered left away from the pedestrians as soon as it hit it.
