    Hi,

I had a Pedal Commander and liked it ok but removed it. I swear my 2019 Tundra "learned" a new pedal curve as it feel much peppier than before.

I mean it was down right sluggish when I first got it. Took a real stomp on the pedal to get it the roar but now it feels like the PC sport mode +2 or +3.

Is this possible? I mean YES it is because I can totally feel the difference and whereas before I was unhappy with the acceleration I now will NOT be reinstalling the PC!

Anything else that could account for this? If I learned anything from having the PC it was a lighter foot gave ample acceleration so it makes no sense that now I'm stomping more naturally....

    Weird.....

    Trav

    No mods...

I'd agree BUT c'mon man...the stock Tundra is sluggish AND if the PC did anything it gave me a lighter touch so it should feel even more sluggish!

Those with a PC give it a try! I had it on for ~6 months....5000 miles....

Because everyone on here tells them the Tundra is sluggish

Stay off the forums and you would have no issues with sluggish feeling, needling a leveling kit, wheel spacers, offset, sliders, etc etc etc

You mean when I constantly have to pay attention so I don't chirp the tires?

Or when I can hit 85+ in a heartbeat when passing?

Or when I can hit the top of the mountain passes doing 60+ while pulling a 6k lb TT?

    Sluggish, LOL.

The buy the PC for the same reason they buy a CAI.

Throttle response is pretty delayed, i'm guessing to give the idea that we have fuel efficient vehicles

Hardly, pretty easy to understand how drive by wire works and the issues it has. DBW has always had this same issue and this is a legit work around.

    OP- NO, its not possible.

Top end performance is very good but off the line is sluggish and demands a heavier foot. All the PC does is adjust the curve so you can get the same response by modulating your pedal.

Stock Tundra non beast mode I never came close to "chirped" tires.

PC can provide a chirp no problem in highest mode with light pedal.

Again post PC it feels like Sport +2/+3

Our stockers must be different then, because I chirped them when I test drove it.

There is a definite throttle lag in the tundra and present in my 4runner too. Had the sprint booster in the 4runner and have the pedal commander in the tundra. There is a definite difference in the throttle response and makes it much more responsive.

I just purchased a Pedal Commander and found the sweet spot setting is City+4. That setting is #16 out of the 32. On Sport+ it's a f#ckin beast! It adds zero horsepower but "feels" so much quicker off the line due to the increase in throttle response, I personally love it.
Those that don't have it and are wondering what it feels like just press your tow haul button, it feels like that off the line on the (mid) City mode.
Completely changes the driving experience for the truck.
I feel Toyota was obligated to program a slight delay on the throttle response for comfort and fuel economy reasons. Best part about this PC is it's a plug and play unit, takes seconds to install or remove without leaving a trace.

You have an '08... The '14 - present ones don't act the same. They are sluggish.
