Just installed my birthday/fathers day gift (early) from my oldest son Eric and his wife Jinah.

I wish I had one on my F150 Tremor when I had it.
I noticed a difference right away driving away from my house. There have been times before this install the pedal lagged.

My son warned me not to change setting while driving. I also have it connected to my cell phone.

From the forum I've read that if you're going to get one, the Banks is the one to get. But I don't have one, not going to get one so I really don't have a dog in this fight.

This morning I took my granddaughter to school and the pedal commander was set to number 3. At number 3 the pedal was to touchy for me. When I got home I changed it to number 2. I then had to go the VA about 27 miles away. Number 2 was still to touchy for me, so when I got to the VA I changed it to number 1. On the drive home it was still to touchy for me and now I'm thinking of returning it (Amazon).

People seem to be much happier with the Banks pedal monster and think a lot of people share the same experience as you with the commander.

One thing to try is the OEM drive mode for sport if you want a little more response and if you really want the beans put it in Tow + mode. I put it in tow + yesterday and forgot the roads were a little wet and spun the tires pretty good leaving a light.

I wonder if this is any different than driving in Tow+ mode?

Has anyone with one of these compared? Like turned the commander off and drove in Tow+, then turned it back on and drove in Normal?

I've never had the Pedal Monster but I had the Pedal Commander on my 4Runner for years, made the throttle response so much better.

You're indicating +3. Then +2. Then +1. There is also 0 and then negative settings.

But you didn't note which of the setting categories ("city" "sport" etc.) you were set on.

I believe you need to spend a bit more time studying the functionality of the tool. You've sold yourself short.

I put the Shiftpower pedal commander in mine about a year ago. It works very well but I can't use it past setting 2. The truck is way too jumpy. The response is great, but I still have the turbo lag issue. If there is a way to get rid of that, I am open to suggestions.
