It will auto lock when it gets up to speed and will with the fob, but not with the knob insides. It acts as if it’s not connected. Only the passenger front

Lube the wire to the locking mechanism.. you will have to remove the inside door trim to get to it.. when you lube lock and unlock by pushing and pulling the wire and should be back to normal operation.. mine did the same a few years back..

Did you recently have the door panel off?
The wire, with the ball end, may have come out of it's socket.
You really have to snap the connector in place to keep it in.

I would bet the door is actually locked, it just isn't moving the latch/knob/whatever in the door panel.
Lock the doors with the fob and try to open the passenger door from the outside.
You shouldn't be able to open it.
The door will open from the inside whether it is locked or not.

    And welcome to the forum...

Thanks! I will do just that. The knob it just flips as if it was not connected and I have never had the door panel off

I locked it with the fob then tried the outside and it was indeed locked.

    Good deal.

Another possibility is the door actuator went bad on the passenger door.
So if you take it apart and find everything connected, look into that.
You can find a few threads on it, I've yet to have that happen.

To get the door panel off:

She kinda glazes over the important part of the cables, but she will show you how to get the panel off and look good doing it.

More detail on what we are working on with the cables.
The cable removal is at 2:50..
This is actually a more helpful video, even though it's a 2014, but he just isn't as pretty...
He also tells you how to get it back together.
