I promise y’all that I keep searching before starting a new thread, but keep coming up short.

Finishing up getting my lift installed and noticed that with the 1.5 inch blocks in the rear, that now the parking brake cable is mashed against the leaf spring. Same on both sides. It’s more than just a rub, its mashed against it pretty hard. Can’t be good long term. Any solutions?

I think that’s just the camera angle.

They should have given you cable mount extensions. And also check your break lines in center with axle hanging, they might also be a little tight.

This was my mitigation for this issue. Works well still.

I was able to bend the bracket a little. It got the cable off the spring by about half an inch. Forgot to take a pic.

Does anyone here know how to take the e brake cable off of the truck, I’m doing an axle swap and need this axle off now, but am being held up because I cannot find anything on how to remove it. Thanks.
